here comes the soap giveaway

Hajni of Mianra Artisan Soaps has offered to add to the General Goodness by sending one of her fragrant soap boxes to a Pretty Far West reader.  Since I first met her, Hajni has stormed up the international soapmaking rankings, and rightly so: her soaps are easily the nicest I've ever used.

Cleanliness: so important
The box above contains:

  • a Vetyver & Rose Soap cake slice enriched with cocoa butter and silk, with wild seaweed;
  • a Bath Truffle loaded with shea & cocoa butter, scented with frangipani;
  • a Lemongrass scented Bath Bomb;
  • a Cherry Blossom Cupcake soap
The winner's box will be freshly assembled in 3 weeks, when the current batch of soap finishes curing, and it'll contain a similarly appealing assortment.

A fresh soap cake, ready to slice. Imagine wearing it as a hat at the races: what clean, fragrant hair you'd have when it rained.

How to enter: like the Mianra Soaps page on Facebook, and then leave a brief comment here so that I can enter your name in the draw. To save you some typing effort, you can copy and paste the comment below, or wing it with your own equally considered remark.
Oooh, lovely soaps!! Beautiful blog! Fingers crossed I win! Must dash!! xxx

  2. Hey Mise! You forgot to pinpoint the ever so matching cupcake soap ;)! Or you're shying away from trendsetting may be? Or possibly just checking the alertness of your lovely audience :)))!

  5. Hello Mise:
    Without wishing to sound in any way ungrateful, could you not have included step by step instructions as to how to copy and paste? We have now been up half the night trying, so desperate are we to be included in the draw, and are finally having to admit defeat and must now go to all of this additional work, not to mention more time spent. So,

    'Ooh, lovely soaps!! Beautiful blog! Fingers crossed, etc. etc.'

    If it might increase our chances of winning [we hail from the land of complete corruption], then we could always collect. Think of it, big saving for you on postage!

    1. I had erroneously assumed, dear Jane and Lance, that a senior representative from the British Embassy in Hungary, perhaps indeed the Ambassador himself, would be there by your side to lend a hand with copying and pasting in your hour of need. The Diplomatic Service isn't what it used to be.

      Postage is free here in Ireland if one knows Jim or Noreen behind the counter, so please have no worries on that account, but how kind of you to offer to collect.

    2. I can certainly add the Hungarian touch to it 100% if it is any comfort dear Jane and Lance. And should you win a personal delivery in Hungary could be arranged. Admittedly it may be to your neighbour or the Ambassador himself - not worth the risk.:)))

  12. At first glance I actually thought they were little cakes. I love the soaps and I would love to win these bespoke soaps.
    And Mise, you do have a beautiful blog with the lowliest of readers x

    1. I often deplore the lowliness of my readers, indeed, Móna, but they're the only ones I have and they do surprise me once in a while with a good quip.

    1. I apologise likewise in advance for the delay in sending them, Elaine; I share your fear of facebook and, as the phobia deepens, am now unaccountably becoming nervous of postage stamps.

  14. Gorgeous soaps that make me want to eat them.

  15. I asm afraid that I cannot enter this divine giveaway, Mise. Despite the fact that nothing in my hamper even begins to compare with these artisan concoctions, winning the P3 Girls' Night In collection at the Ball last night means that there is no more room in the Land for products of any description. This makes me sad. 'Tis my own fault. I knew I should have contributed soemthing heavenly and desirable, instead of clearing out the unused Christmas presents shelf...

  18. Hello Mise -The Mianra soaps are absolutely stunning. I would use them as a centrepiece on my dining table and any who misbehaves would get their mouth washed out- how could they refuse. I'm like the Hattatts, I would collect them personally - any excuse for a trip!
