ReplyDeleteHey Mise,
ReplyDeleteInterest Mark 2
Will put your giveaway on my sidebar.......
ReplyDeleteNever did get over not living next door to Alice...Smokie had me when the limousine drove away. XXXX
ReplyDeleteI love the european style of these plaques!
ReplyDeleteNo way! I want the blue French one. I really really really want the blue French one, Mise. I'll even hurry up and make the Roman blind which is definitely the decided fate of your toile! And I am so going to post a link. Tomorrow. Hopefully.
ReplyDeleteI've been meaning to get a new number for my house ever since I moved here (14 years ago). Definitely interested.
ReplyDeleteHello Mise:
ReplyDeleteMr and Mrs permanently interested here. Interested in dogs, cats, cushions, shabby chic, faded Georgian mansions, cryptic crosswords, gardens, cushions, curtains, Farrow and Ball paints, marmalade and E M Forster.
And, by the way, for the last 24 years we have been 'living next door to' Alice.
We got a new fence and the fence guys took away the old one along with the house numbers which were attached to it. A Ramsign would guide the mailman should we get a new one.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering who the hell Alice was but the lovely Hyattas just introduced us.
ReplyDeleteI too would love a number or 3.
We have never heard this song before. It seemed to go on for 24 years itself but they were very cute with their hairdos.
One ht wonders?
xo jane
Thanks for sharing ... I like these plaques very much.
ReplyDeleteHello Mise
ReplyDeleteWhat a generous giveaway. I know how Jacqueline and the Hattatt's feel about "living next door to Alice" all those years and FlwrJane next to "who the hell/%&%% is Alice" We had a country farmhouse for more than 20 yrs, when people asked where we lived and we told them, they would say "Oh! yea the Old MacIntyre Farm" Wish we had known about Ramsign then!
Helen xx
As a giveaway addict I must say, count me in. We are at Number 54 Kitchenaid Avenue in the appliances ghetto. xx
ReplyDeleteI would love to win that!
ReplyDeleteIt is definiterly an omen that the first number you showed is 2 ..... as that is the number of our little hovel down Cow Pat Lane, round the corner from Sheep Poo Drive (yes, we live in the country!) I used to love that Smokey song .... and I think someone did indeed do a version, the chorus of which went .... Alice, Alice, who the !"£$ is Alice!!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've entered a giveaway before, so this is a first. What lovely signs, too nice to go outside though. I think I'd have to put it on an inside wall, since anyone who we want to find us knows where we are already.
ReplyDeleteHow perfectly lovely! Please find my expression of interest enclosed herein. If it helps, my house only requires a single digit, thereby perhaps making it a more cost-effective giveaway for the kindly folks at Ramsign.
ReplyDeleteMy house has not got a number, just a name. It was like that when I bought it. I like the shape of the number 5 and am enjoying the new Tom Waits album also.
ReplyDeleteIt's not for nothing that by inverting your initial initial upside down YOU become Wise.
ReplyDeleteoh yes, especially since they came up with a way of numbering rural properties like ours that is totally INSANE and now instead of Lot 10 we are apparently something stupid to do with how many metres we are from the bitumen plus a letter that depends on how many houses come before us. Arg. official decisions like this can only possibly be improved by fancy lettering!
ReplyDeleteI live next door to Amanda, who has a very covetable one of these in blue. Interested? You bet I am :D
ReplyDeleteexpressing interest
ReplyDeleteI hope you get one too!
THEY ARE SUPERB! IT SOUNDS LIKE OTHER COMMENTERS NEED THIS MORE THAN ME-BUT I WILL STILL CROSS MY FINGERS.
ReplyDeletevery interested!! what a great giveaway!!
ReplyDeleteI don't, Speccy, but as my house doesn't have a number the pain is bearable.
ReplyDeletePlease include me, I am in need of a sign.
ReplyDeleteIm in! I've been entering giveaways for these plaques forever...we still have those sticky numbers on the front of our house that they made us put up to pass inspection...let's see if the tenth times a charm!
ReplyDeleteThank you for offering another chance to un-ghetto ourselves Mise...
xo J~
O my gosh...I would love to have one for our humble condo : ) Thank you
ReplyDeleteYou so nearly quote my actual address there! Except, as you know, I live at number 66 :) A classic enamel sign such as this would immensely help our postman, who keeps delivering our mail to the empty house next door (not only do I not live next door to Alice, I currently live next door to nobody....)
ReplyDeleteSo does that count as a second entry, then?
ReplyDeleteHey, hooray!!! I'm up for it. Sure would rather put that sign up on my door (needing one) than one I will purchase from Lowe's!!!
ReplyDeleteI love Ramsign! Thanks for sharing such a generous giveaway.
ReplyDeleteThank you for commenting on my blog so that I could find yours. It's right up my street.
ReplyDelete(That is, of course, if it was you. If it was one of your 'outsourced commentators' then please do pass on my thanks...).

Hi Mise, awfully interested altogether!
ReplyDeleteYES PLEASE! I am definitely interested. The number of my house would look delightful expressed in such style!
ReplyDeleteI am also interested. One can never have too much enamel about oneself. Thank you for bringing a touch of the far west to a displaced Irish girl in London, doomed to long for bonne maman terrariums filled with peat bog for all eternity.
ReplyDeletehehe... alice... you slay me

Interest here too, please.

Very beautiful! I'm waiting over 7 years for the boyfriend to do some manly hacking down of the ugly number plaque that came with the house. Maybe if I won one of these it would spur him into action...
ReplyDeleteOh aren't they lovely? Please count me in!
ReplyDeleteFound you via the sad strawberry and now longing for a pancake!
blessings x
Well this IS all very interesting and I would more than happily renumber my abode to suit the number sent if it looked so stylish as these signs do!
