Some of my favourite pieces of art in the house are those of personal relevance.

Lovely - I'm afraid all personal relevance paintings in our house are done by the kids and are stuck to the kitchen cupboard doors!!

You have some great talent in the family. I really like the one of pink daughter.
My favorite personal relevance paintings are the little illustrations my uncle drew on cards for birthdays or Christmas. They always had great humor.
Your sister did such a wonderful job with Pink Daughter! And your Grandma is quite talented as well. If only I could put a pen/paintbrush/crayon to paper and make something wonderful, too. Instead, I hang Ethan's work throughout our place and consider the arrangement alone my artistic contribution.

How lovely Mise - they are treasures to pass down to the girls, and then the grandchildren. I love art of any kind, and am so in love with my dads paintings that I am so lucky to have. It's my dream ..to be a painter.

That's a lovely one of your daughter......are your children arty ? Mine were at school. They don't do art anymore, although they like looking at it. Too many other things going on, I guess.... but my niece is a sculptor. We have a couple of her pieces..... and my cousin has painted from a very young age, but none of us are up to Picasso standards !! XXXX

the more personal the better and you can add to that fantastic artistic heritage now with your beautifullly curved c's and coloured cup cat and a candle.
All three of these are beautiful in quite different ways - I'm a particular fan of detailed botanical illustrations/painting, so I think the flowers are my favourite.
My chap and I are both just about at the finger-painting stage, so may not be producing any artworks for our home just yet!
