a good and kind thing

Comrades, gather round. Look what postie brought today:

Isn't that lovely? It's hanging now on my kitchen wall, and is a perfect addition to my preponderance of pink, though I might dignify this one by calling it burgundy.

And there was more, lots more. All this came from Jaboopee, the preparation of whose tax return you'll see in the top right hand corner of the above image. That's deliberately fuzzy so that you won't print it out (I know your sort). It's print 1 of 1, and mine. In years to come, people will etc. etc., and she paused her typing for another sip of the celebratory fizzy.

Now wasn't that a good and kind thing to do after hearing me go On and On about my impossible giveaway dreams? Why can't you all be more like Jaboopee?

  4. Love, love, love that first print. There's never enough pink in one's home. Especially if it contains such charming flowers.

  7. Gosh yes that flower print is gorgeous. But I'm going to be controversial and say it's possibly more 'raspberry'?

  10. Good stuff. I like it when nice people have nice things happen to them - it's the sort of thing that *should* be on the news!

  11. Hey! I object! I offered to send you a Kraft cheese tube once and was rudely snubbed. Thanks alot Jaboopee - now you've risen the bar so high, we'll never get any respect. Meredy xo.
p.s. her gifts are altogether gorgeous though aren't they?

  12. Ah no, Meredith, my imaginary poodle lives on Kraft cheese, the posh sort in tubes just like you have, I but didn't want to put you to any trouble going to the post office and all. I didn't mind putting Jaboopee to trouble as she was on her way to the vintage lampshade shop anyhow. Do I sound convincing here? Oh there's the door banging - Meredith has gone off in a huff. What a big shame. OK, who else here has Kraft cheese?

I think you should do a giveaway and it should be accomodations in your lovely land! Hooray!

Also, can I be the only one to enter?
