blue daughter & this & that

Blue Daughter doesn't understand about fashion yet, and that no one is making blue clothes for girls this season. There's no way she'll accept pink hand-me-downs from Pink Daughter. Luckily, she'll settle for teal, so long as she is given blueberries.

And now, in a burst of enthusiasm for what's out there:

  1. Teal daughter is adorable. I admire her unwillingness to conform to the pink side of life. Clearly she is the next mini-Sartorialist in the making...

  3. How odd to get ready to comment on Blue Daughter and see a link to my weblog. She's the best!!! She's the coliseum!!!

I wish I could say that Junior was eschewing pink as well. Well, maybe he is...most recently he threw Juniorette's pink dolly stroller aside to access his bad assed monster zombie toy...his lavender dolly stroller.

  6. Blue daughter has a fab little face. As for those cupcakes, I'd take a cupcake from anyone, anytime, anywhere.

  7. I love their fierce determination when it comes to style - and at such a young age. My girl wouldn't wear anything with blue for months. I made several return rus to stores. Now she is into wearing my headbands - you know, the kind used to hold your hair back as you wash your face. She's like a mini lord of the dance. And that ain't good.

  8. Oh Mise she's adorable! I love her defiance and admire that she flies in the face of conformity. Who decided that little girls should wear pink anyway? She's a girl after my own heart - both turquoise and teal have recently crept up on my consciousness to assume their own positions in my favourite colour chart.

  9. Blue Daughter looks like a little angel! My sister was the same way for a long time - refusing any and all of my pink hand-me-downs.

  11. Isn't she brilliant - what a fantastic way to ensure she doesn't have to wear hand-me-downs. I suspect she's inherited quite a bit of your personality :-)

  16. Hello! (after my short holiday absence). I've loved catching up on your posts.

And I TOTALLY relate to blue daughter (who is completely adorable, by the way).

I've always been obsessed by blue, green and everything in between - and never really grown out of it...

  18. Oh, Mise, you're officially hired as my PR guru! You don't understand how much it makes me laugh when you call me "mysterious" because I think I'm just the opposite. And if I were booking stand up acts, you'd be my first hire. Very few people make me laugh every day like you!

I love that you have une fille rose and une fille bleue. And they're both equally adorable!
